Local first and account free
SoLo Backup & Clean has no SoLoVision account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or Android internet permission. Photos, videos, messages, app-usage history, scan results, and archive passwords are not sent to SoLoVision.
Optional permissions
Photo and video access supports scanning, preview, backup, and Android-confirmed cleanup. SMS and MMS access is used only when you start message backup or restore. Usage Access supports optional app-size and last-used comparisons. Notifications support optional low-storage reminders.
Google Drive
Photo copies and encrypted message archives are saved through Android document providers to a location you choose. Google Drive handles its own synchronization under your Google account.
Remove local data
Open Android Settings, Apps, SoLo Backup & Clean, then Storage and cache to clear local app data. Remove copies from Google Drive separately. Full instructions are at https://clean.solovisionllc.com/data-deletion.
