Start with the simple cleanup
Open SoLo Backup & Clean and tap Clean up my phone. The app scans only media Android allows it to see and shows the safest space-saving choices first.
Exact duplicates
Extra copies in an exact-duplicate set can be selected together. One protected copy in every set always stays on the phone. Android shows the final cleanup confirmation.
Backup is optional
You can clean without making a backup. If you want a separate copy first, use the Google Drive photo backup or create an encrypted SMS and MMS archive. Confirm important files in the destination before removing local copies.
Review apps
The optional app cleanup advisor can compare size and recent use after you grant Android Usage Access. It never silently removes an app.
